Anant Laxman Kanhere
(1892 - 19 April 1910).
This is a Maharashtrian revolutionary. Childhood and education at Aurangabad. He was a member of Veer Savarkar's Abhinav Bharat. Lokmanya Tilak was repressed everywhere in Maharashtra after the imposition of imprisonment for sedition in 1908. Kanhere was one of those who honestly believed that the repression should be executed by the British officers. He drove his real life to Nashik. On December 21, 1909, a young British Collector Jackson came up with a shot at the Jivyanand Natyagrha in Nashik. He was hanged for this crime. Thus, at the age of 18, he got martyrdom.
